POSITION: Program Director/ Faculty for Engineering Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree

JOB SUMMARY:
Galveston College is looking for an enthusiastic and visionary leader to launch a brand-new associate degree program. The Program Director for the Associate of Applied Science in Engineering Technology program will be instrumental in developing and implementing this new program and will be responsible for recruiting new students hiring adjunct faculty developing curriculum and overseeing the overall quality of the program

QUALIFICATIONS:
Hold at least a bachelors degree (from a regionally accredited institution) in engineering or have a related masters degree with at least 18 graduate hours in an engineering technology-related discipline. The candidate must have experience with PLCs CAD robotic technician troubleshooting and programming. Previous teaching experience required experience in higher education addition the successful candidate must have strong communication skills (written and oral) interpersonal and organization skills team-oriented ability to meet deadlines and advanced computer skills. The aptitude to think outside the box and to work collegially and collaboratively with others is essential.
