Job Summary

The Project Engineer will also need to perform administrative tasks such as review pay applications process invoices collect releases and organize files.  The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills and the ability to demonstrate sound independent judgement.  The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

  • Review and understand project plans and specification
  • Administrative duties relevant to the project
  • Financial tracking and project updates
  • Document control preparation of contacts RFIs submittals change orders
  • Excellent Communication with team members contractors and business unit stakeholders
  • The ability to perform site visits and identify product deficiencies and deviations from plans or specs.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management Building Construction or related field or Business with 3-5 years of position-related experience is preferred.
  • General knowledge of construction and the is required commercial construction preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret design and engineering/architectural drawings.
  • The ability to plan solicit negotiate and administer different types of contacts in accordance with established policies and procedures including legal and ethical aspects of procurement procedures and the selection and evaluation of contactors.
  • Excellent negotiation communication and networking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Project Outlook)
  • Proficient in use of Procore
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Bluebeam or Revit helpful 
  • Strong organization skills

Pay Range: $80000 - $90000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
