Job Summary
Hours: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri or with OT. Saturdays as needed.
Wage: $18.00 per hour
Location: 600 Grantham Lane New Castle DE 19720
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Manager Operations and/or Warehouse Manager the Warehouse Associate is responsible for shipping receiving logistical planning and assisting with general warehouse duties.
Responsibilities:
Primary Duties:
Receive direct container shipments
Pick pack and ship truckload & less than truckload shipments daily
Order management
Warehouse organization and cleanliness
Inventory control
Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees customers owners and vendors.
Understand and follow all safety policies.
Stage and label product.
Maintain Work Practices:
Maintain work environment to 5S standards
Punctual: begins work on time and returns from lunch and breaks on time
All paperwork and database entries filled out completely and accurately
Promote a positive team atmosphere with co-workers
Other projects as assigned
Education:
High school degree or equivalent
Experience:
Forklift driving experience and certification
Other Requirements:
Basic computer skills
Experience with SAP is preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word Excel and Outlook
