English Language Learner Teacher 2026-2027

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Language Learner Teacher to join our team in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. As an ELL Teacher you will play a crucial role in supporting non-native English speakers in developing their language skills and academic proficiency.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of English Language Learners
• Assess students English language proficiency and track their progress over time
• Collaborate with mainstream teachers to support ELL students success in content area classes
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates cultural diversity
• Utilize various instructional strategies and technologies to enhance language acquisition
• Provide individualized support and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Communicate effectively with students parents and colleagues regarding student progress
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with ELL teaching practices
• Assist in the development and implementation of the schools ELL program
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance

Qualifications :

• Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university

• Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate with required certification for subject and level assigned if applicable*

• Demonstrated knowledge of core subject area assigned

• Satisfactory outcome of a background check. Employees are responsible for a non-refundable fingerprinting fee (approximately $60).

• *Applicants currently pursuing a certification may apply before certification is received. All certifications must be acquired and on file with KIPP OKC before the end of the first year of employment. *
