Post: Senior Electrical Technician For Serving HA Staff Only
Department / Cluster: Medical Physics / Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital / Hong Kong East Cluster
Pay: HK$57842 to HK$87341 (HGPS point 24 to 33) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and supervise Electrical Technicians in providing preventive and emergency maintenance services for radiodiagnostic radiotherapy nuclear medicine and electronic equipment.
2. Assist the Chief Electrical Technician in preparing operational plans and budgets for the workshop.
3. Assist the Chief Electrical Technician in preparing and executing maintenance programs for radiological equipment.
4. Assist Physicists in preparing and executing quality assurance programs for radiological and medical equipment.
5. Provide technical supports to Physicists and Chief Electrical Technician for radiological and medical equipment maintenance computer applications and related fields.
6. Perform on-call duties and work irregular hours when required.
7. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Electrical Technician.
Entry Requirements
1. A Higher Certificate or a Higher Diploma in Electronics Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Engineering or equivalent from a polytechnic or technical institute in Hong Kong or equivalent.
2. 3 years continuous experience in the rank of Electrical Technician in the Hospital Authority institutions.
Preferred Attributes
1. Technically competent in x-ray equipment and RT equipment maintenance service.
2. Technically competent in PACS and networking of x-ray image transfer in HA hospitals.
3. Knowledge and experience in maintenance contractor management and contract compliance monitoring.
4. Able to work independently and under pressure.
