Job Summary

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon to join its expanding Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. This is a faculty position with a clinical focus providing a busy orthopaedic trauma surgery practice at two of the largest trauma centers in North Texas.

Position Highlights

  • High-volume orthopaedic trauma surgery role with robust surgical case mix
  • Primarily clinical practice
  • Trauma call and operative responsibilities at Clements University Hospital (Level 4) and/or Parkland (Level 1) nationally recognized trauma centers
  • Faculty appointment at UT Southwestern Medical Center rank commensurate with experience

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery
  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Eligible for Texas medical license
  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence education and multidisciplinary collaboration
