Job Summary

As a receptionist you youll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. You will report to the Clinic Manager/Center Administrator and be a part of the front desk team.As a receptionist/Medical Assistant you will perform clinical tasks such as:
- Answer direct phone calls take messages and respond to patient inquiries
- Greet patients verify demographics and prepare them for exams
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Schedule appointments procedures and surgeries
- Process patient payments and handle billing-related tasks
- Perform pre-visit planning based on patient visit type
- Obtain and record medical history and vital signs
Required Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations protocols
- This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.
Other Qualifications :
- Value-based care model experience
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Room patients and assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments
- Perform specimen collection and point of care testing
- Prepare and administer medication under direction of healthcare provider

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
