Job Summary

Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology

Join our dedicated healthcare team in Des Moines Iowa providing exceptional care at two prominent medical centers. Job Responsibilities:

Provide medical hematology and oncology coverage for 4-5 days per week.
Inpatient coverage at both MercyOne Des Moines and MercyOne West Des Moines.
Conduct patient assessments and develop new and ongoing treatment plans.
Manage chemotherapy and pain management protocols.
Participate in telehealth services as needed.
Ensure a high standard of care in compliance with medical regulations and guidelines.
Collaborate with nursing and medical imaging teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology REQUIRED
Fellowship trained in Hematology & Oncology REQUIRED
Active IA License or Active IMLC REQUIRED
Minimum experience level required REQUIRED
Must be willing to work at both MercyOne Des Moines and MercyOne West Des Moines REQUIRED
Clean malpractice and background history REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

Active Iowa medical license or active IMLC.
Board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology.
