Description

As aField Service Engineer Ihere at Honeywell you will have the opportunity to provide essential technical support and expertise to our customers in the Gas Detection & Life Safety business unit. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions and contributing to customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor and youll work out of our South Portland ME customer location.

In this role you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our customers operations by delivering exceptional technical support and service at their facilities.



Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for our customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain customer equipment at customer facility while also creating maintenance plans.
  • Full time equivalent at customer facility in South Portland ME.
  • Provide technical support and expertise for our gas detection solutions.
  • Willing to be on-call 24/7.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements and provide recommendations for improvement.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service engineering or a related technical role.
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in electronics pneumatics etc.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Experience with relevant tools and technologies such as PLCs SCADA systems and industrial control systems.
  • Valid drivers license.

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics.
  • Military experience.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and technical support.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • General knowledge of SAP Salesforce and Microsoft Windows.
