Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Maintenance you will form a critical part of the central maintenance team and the wider business.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration configuration and functional support of the IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system for WeDriveU Inc.
In this role you will support the management of business assets maintenance operations and inventory processes while ensuring the system aligns with operational needs and industry best practices.
You will have a strong knowledge of Maximo functional modules with a solid understanding of system configuration and design acting as a bridge between maintenance operations supply chain and IT teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maximo System Administration & Functional Support
Administer and support IBM Maximo EAM with a focus on Transportation Fleet and Facilities assets
Configure Maximo app workflows escalations automation scripts (high-level) and security groups
Manage system settings domains classifications job plans PMs routes and asset hierarchies
Support upgrades patches and testing activities in coordination with IT and vendors
Monitor system performance and data integrity
Asset & Maintenance Management
Support asset lifecycle management including asset creation classification condition and retirement
Configure and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs work orders and plans
Assist maintenance teams with work execution labor reporting failure codes and Regs compliance
Ensure Maximo reflects transit-specific operational workflows and safety requirements
Inventory & Materials Management
Support inventory storerooms and purchasing processes within Maximo
Configure reorder points issue/return processes and inventory classifications
Assist with inventory accuracy cycle counts and materials reporting
Work with supply chain stakeholders to improve materials availability and system usability
Technical & Configuration Knowledge
Perform Maximo configuration using App Designer Database Configuration and Security Groups
Support Maximo integration (MIF flat files REST/SOAP APIs) and assist with functional testing
Review and support report development using BIRT or out-of-the-box Maximo reports
Document system configurations design decisions and standard operating procedures
User Support & Continuous Improvement
Provide Tier 2/3 support for Maximo users across maintenance operations and inventory teams
Train users on Maximo functionality and best practices
Gather business requirements and translate them into Maximo configuration solutions
Identify opportunities to improve data quality system usability and business processes
Qualifications:
A college level of education - Preferably in IT Business Management etc (degree diploma or equivalent) - (Highly desirable)
IBM Maximo Certification(s) (Deployment or Administrator)
Project Management Qualification - Prince 2 or APMP (Desirable)
Additional Experience and Skills:
5 years experience of working on Information Technology systems (Essential)
3 years experience with IBM Maximo integrations or basic automation scripting (Essential)
Hands on experience with Maximo 7.6 and/or IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) (Essential)
Proven experience managing security workflows integrations and upgrades (Essential)
Comfortable with Maximo upgrades fix packs patches performance tuning and troubleshooting
Practical knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail Drive Docs Sheets Slides and Meet)
Training users in the world of IT (Essential)
Strong organizational skills and outstanding time management (multi-tasking)
Excellent problem solving communication and influencing skills
Motivated to achieve agreed objectives evidenced through business KPIs
Must be prepared to travel to any site (including stay over) in support of the business. (Up to 30% when required)

Manage and develop any personnel within your responsibility

Support and engage in any investigation following an incident as required
For personal injury or company vehicle damage report any accidents incidents or near misses to your line manager immediately if possible or within 24 hrs
Refrain from any action that might endanger you employees customers or the public
