As part of a highly professional and passionate team of eight forward thinkers across Western Europe this role will lead the ER processes through transparent practices and relevant law while acting as a trusted advisor to partners across the LEGO Group.

  • No relocationassistanceis offered for this position.

  • The role is based on our London HUBlocatedat 8-10 New Fetter Lane. Our hybrid working model is 3 days office/2 days home weekly.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the development creation and evaluation of compliant and impactful people policies and processes in partnership with colleagues across the People Places and Culture (PPC)organisationthat build a positive & inclusive work environment and deliver the people promise.

  • Engage and partner with a wider range of stakeholders including senior leaders HR Business Partners Unions and Externalpartnerse.g.representingthe company in negotiations.

  • Coach and upskill employees People Leaders and ER Consultants to deal with disciplinary grievance performance health related concerns end to end in a fairconfidentand effective manner.

  • Conduct complex investigations independently andin accordance withthe LEGO Group policies and values.

  • Support theorganisationthrough complex restructures consultations and negotiations.

  • Manage workplace disputes appropriately (for example facilitation mediation and/or External Litigation).

The Western Europe Employee Relations Lead will deliver consistent execution and delivery of Employee Relations within the region.Inparticularfocusingon ensuringinvestigations policies and procedures are of high-level quality. There is a strong focus on analysis and insight and driving actions whichimpactthe wider function and deliver tangible improvements through the overall employee experienceorganisationalhealthand leadership capabilities.

Do youhavewhat it takes

  • Advanced understanding of employment laws regulations compliance collective bargaining agreements and employee rights.

  • Facilitate mediate and negotiate resolutions in disputes involving employees management unions and employee representatives.

  • Conduct detailed investigations while ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements.

  • Analyze employee relations data to influence policy development and workplace practices.

  • Coach and mentor on employee relations matters policies and best practices.

  • Employ a human-centered approach to problem-solving and innovation focusing on user experience and iterative solutions.

  • Manage change initiatives and navigateorganisationalrestructuring.

  • Build andmaintainpositive relationships with employees leaders unions and stakeholders.

  • Identifyand address complex employee relations challenges with critical thinking and effective solutions.

  • Strongorganisationalskills to handle case work projects and documentation while keeping in line with required guidelines.
