Job Summary
PartTime Monday Wednesday Friday (6 hours/day)
Location: British Columbia
Kids & Company is looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a contract basis until June. Experience working with children with special needs is a strong asset.

Schedule
- Contract until June
- Parttime: 6 hours/day on Monday Wednesday and Friday
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate documentation reporting and record keeping
- Implement an Emergent Curriculum based on childrens interests
- Support childrens emotional physical and behavioural needs
- Complete attendance and health & safety checks
- Work collaboratively with external professionals (e.g. therapists interventionists)
- Assist children with transitions throughout the day
- Participate in team meetings trainings and workshops
Qualifications
- Valid British Columbia ECE License
- Current Criminal Record Check
- Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR
- Uptodate immunizations
- Ability to lift push or pull up to 45 lbs
- Experience working with children with special needs (asset)
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work collaboratively with children families and colleagues
- Comfortable using computer systems for documentation
- Strong problemsolving and initiative
