Location: Anchorage / Juneau
Remote available in Alaska Washington or Arizona

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented candidate with strong analytical and decision-making abilities to evaluate and ensure the quality of the Credit Unions mortgage loan portfolio. This role involves underwriting various mortgage products to include conventional FHA USDA and VA and HUD 184.
What youll be doing:
- Underwrite all types of mortgage loans and review investor overlays to ensure salability.
- Underwrite internal consumer real estate loans to include HELOC closed-end HE loans and residential lot loans.
- Work with origination and processing staff to answer questions regarding conditions and other general loan questions
What youll need:
- Three to five years of similar or related experience to include DE and/or LAPP designations
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience analyzing business financial statements and assessing the viability of business.
- Ability to function in a role that demands a high degree of discretion trust and diplomacy
- Experience in Encompass strongly preferred
