| Job Description: | The University of Florida College of Nursing is seeking a motivated OPS Clinical Research Assistant to join our research this role you will support the Principal Investigator by recruiting and screening study participants conducting experimental protocol sessions managing and organizing research data and maintaining laboratory supplies and inventory. This position is ideal for someone who is detailoriented enjoys handson research and is eager to contribute to impactful clinical studies. Responsibilities include: - Oversees administration of research projects including screening participants ensuring appropriate scheduling and follow-up for research participants and coordinating staff responsibilities for research projects. Runs subjects in experimental protocols; involves obtaining informed consent administering questionnaires and conducting sensory testing protocols (including experimental pain testing).
- Manages data; includes maintaining subject charts and scanning paper forms and upload them to the central database. Ensure that all paper and computer files are maintained in a confidential manner.
- Maintains the inventory and schedule of the laboratory. Includes ordering supplies; tracking equipment computers and phones; and maintaining copies of questionnaires for use in the study. Schedules staff meetings and tracking work schedules. Schedules participant appointments in research studies.
- Trains part-time and volunteer research assistants in data collection and data management; ensures their compliance with IRB and privacy policies
- Helps organize the inventory of the laboratory; includes organizing paper records and lab supplies and informing the study coordinator of inventory status.
