Senior Contract Administrator
Work Location: Huntsville AL
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week; 8 hours per day in office (remote work is not authorized)
Relocation: Negotiable
This position is contingent upon contract award.
IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator with experience administering various complex government or commercial contracts such as CPFF T&M FFP IDIQ GWAC BPA from cradle to grave. The Senior Contract Administrator will conduct administration of government and commercial contracts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties of contract administration including correspondence documentation evaluation financial reporting and other processes related to government contracting.
- Participate in the negotiation of contract terms from proposal stage to project close-out in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Administer contract awards and modifications for compliance with FAR DFAR and other regulations.
- Participate in the preparation of proposals including pricing and scheduling details and coordination of requirements as needed.
- Prepare Consulting Agreements Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements.
- Ensure timely processing of technical reports and deliverables.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Interface with multiple levels of operations personnel and administrative staff related to contract issues and actions.
- Track and monitor the execution of tasks
- Perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite of products with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds.
Education and General Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Legal Contract Management Supply Chain or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract administration with significant experience in government contracting environments.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as data rights safety rules federal regulations and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others in various roles in and outside of the company
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to change.
- Must have the ability to work well with others.
- Strong understanding of DFAR/FAR Data Rights is desired
- Experience administering manufacturing/product type contracts is desired
Clearance Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required. Per federal requirements only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
