Job Summary
Would you like to make complex technology easy to understand Were looking for someone to help us create clear practical user guides for our advanced scientific echo sounders sonars and ocean science instruments. We also provide echo sounders transducers and advanced instruments for the worlds fishing fleet as well as for bottom mapping and underwater communications.
At the cutting edge of technology we want to be able to make technical information available in VR AR and mixed reality as well as AI. This requires us to be adaptable in the formats in which we present and produce our information.

What you will be doing
- Create revise and maintain high quality technical documentation such as user manuals online help and instructional guides
- Analyze complex technical information and simplify it for end-user understanding
- Utilize various content management systems and authoring tools to produce and manage documentation
- Use standards such as IPS (Integrated Product Support) S1000D NEK standards to ensure high quality information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers product managers and designers to gather information
We think you should have
- Bachelors degree in engineering science or other technical background
- Experience working with authoring tools: XML DITA standard S1000D Content management system (RWS Tridion Docs) Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English verbal and written.
- You are or aspire to become a valuable resource through your passion for the field.
