Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees the tasks and work of Operations Support Technicians in the department
- Responsible for the training of all new hire Operations Support Technicians
- Responsible for assisting with the training of all Field Operations new hires as it relates to the departmental processes
- Organizes workflow and prepares schedules; reviews payroll; approves all team member timesheets and leave
time - Supervises directs and evaluates assigned staff processing employee concerns and problems directing work
counseling applying performance improvement progressive discipline and completing employee appraisals in a timely manner - Meets with the Logistics Manager regarding policies affecting the administration of the department; recommends improvements and changes as appropriate
Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (G.E.D); or equivalent combination of education and
experience - Six (6) months to one (1) year related supervisory/leadership experience and/or training OR combination of
education/experience - Basic knowledge of process improvement
- Knowledge of assembly line/ production systems
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as but not limited to pallet jacks ramps ladders and dolly
- Knowledge of radio communications equipment
- Knowledge of precautions and safety procedures for handling and cleaning biohazards
- Knowledge of minor repairs and maintenance procedures
