Job Summary
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Successful completion of up to a 52-week Fabricator training program
- Operate shear brake laser saw roller pipe threader forklift & overhead crane.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment.
- Responsible for performing and inspecting own work.
- Maintain a clean safe workplace.
- Overtime commitment when needed.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must pass a tape measure test and protractor test.
- Ability to operate all machines and tools in the department. Training is provided for up to 52 weeks (based upon skill level).
- Experience in operating fabrication equipment in a form shop environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints is preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to use gauges templates and other measuring devices to inspect production parts is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school grad or equivalent required.
