Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and committed Music Teacher to join a prestigious high-achieving independent school in Chelmsford. This is a full-time permanent position commencing in February 2026 ideal for a teacher who is passionate about Music and dedicated to inspiring young people to excel.
The Role
As a Music Teacher you will:
Deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across KS3KS5 supporting students to reach their full potential.
Contribute to the continued success of a well-resourced and high-performing Music department.
Foster a genuine enthusiasm for Music including involvement in extracurricular programmes and fixtures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the schools high standards in teaching learning and behaviour.

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will be:
A qualified Music teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
A confident practitioner with strong subject knowledge
Skilled at motivating and inspiring students of all abilities

Eligible to work in the UK
Salary
Salary will be paid in line with the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) depending on experience.
