We are seeking an enthusiastic creative and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Luton starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys lower Key Stage 2 and is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential academically socially and emotionally.

As a Year 4 Teacher you will plan deliver and assess lessons across the curriculum supporting pupils learning personal development and wellbeing. You will help pupils build confidence independence and resilience as they progress through Key Stage 2 preparing them for the challenges of upper KS2 and eventually SATs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum
Assess track and monitor pupil progress to ensure achievement targets are met
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including SEN and vulnerable learners
Promote positive behaviour high expectations and a growth mindset
Create a well-structured stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues across the school
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to provide updates on progress and support
Contribute to staff meetings planning sessions and school-wide initiatives
Support pupils social emotional and personal development alongside academic learning
Ensure compliance with safeguarding health and safety and school policies
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Have recent experience teaching in KS2 ideally Year 4
Be confident in delivering a broad balanced curriculum
Have strong classroom management organisational and planning skills
Be enthusiastic approachable and reflective in practice
Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
Be committed to inclusion safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
