Mission
The Network Development Specialist supports the strategic and operational development of BYDs commercial network in the assigned market ensuring the achievement of coverage profitability and quality objectives in line with brand standards and the companys growth plan.
Main Responsibilities
Network Development and Territorial Coverage
Support the Team Leader in defining and implementing the network plan to achieve the optimal size of the BYD network in the assigned market.
Scout and select new Dealers in line with the company strategy.
Increase territorial coverage through new Points of Sale (PoS).
Dealer Onboarding and Launch
Manage the onboarding process of Lead Dealers coordinating all involved company functions (sales aftersales finance legal marketing operations).
Ensure proper business launch within the scheduled timelines and according to BYD standards.
Performance Monitoring and Development
Monitor the growth and performance improvement process of Dealers and PoS.
Identify opportunities for improvement or replacement of underperforming partners.
Track progress in new showrooms ensuring adherence to timelines and standards.
Financial and Economic Performance
Analyze Dealers financial performance.
Define and implement concrete improvement plans to increase profitability and sustainability.
Monitor key economic and operational KPIs.
Contracts and Commercial Relationships
Support Dealers in negotiating and managing contracts and agreements.
Ensure achievement of contractual objectives.
Coordination and Teamwork
Coordinate with all company functions to align processes roles and activities at every level.
Operate within an international team context collaborating with global stakeholders.
Key Results (KPI)
PoS Goals Opening of new points of sale.
Dealer Economics Goals Achievement of economic targets for Dealers.
Showroom Progress Progress in new showroom developments.
Contractual Goals Compliance with contractual objectives.
Requirements
Degree in Economics Engineering or related fields
Minimum 5 years of experience in network development area management or business development preferably in the automotive sector
Analytical and financial skills contract negotiation experience
Excellent interpersonal skills results-oriented and experience working in international teams
Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus
Preferably based in central-southern Italy
