The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Knowledge Translation Officer (Policy and Communications) to provide specialist support advancing Turning Point and MARCs policy and knowledge translation objectives. The role develops persuasive evidence-informed policy outputs for state and national audiences and works closely with the Policy and Engagement Manager to drive a cohesive and impactful policy agenda.

The role undertakes in-depth research and analysis to develop clear compelling policy materials informed by addiction policy expertise. It builds and maintains strong stakeholder relationships manages the Alcohol Change Victoria partnership contributes to strategic planning and ensures timely high-quality policy content through ongoing horizon scanning and media monitoring.

Applicants will have relevant qualifications or equivalent experience advanced knowledge of alcohol other drugs and gambling policy and a strong understanding of public policy processes. Excellent knowledge translation communication organisational and digital skills are essential along with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
