We are seeking a hands-on SAP OTC Functional Lead to provide functional design leadership for a newly implemented SAP S/4HANA environment as part of a growing SAP Center of Excellence (COE). This role is critical to stabilizing optimizing and scaling SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) capabilities within a high-volume automotive supply chain operation.
You will act as a functional and solution architect partnering closely with Sales Distribution Warranty Operations IT and AMS teams to ensure SAP solutions align with business needs SAP best practices and long-term enterprise standards.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring deep SAP OTC expertise strong business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders while driving standardization and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Functional Leadership

Lead functional design and solution architecture for Order-to-Cash (OTC) within SAP S/4HANA.

Ensure SAP configurations across OTC SD FI-AR VMS Variant Configuration MM P2P and Plant Maintenance align with SAP best practices and documentation standards.

Serve as the OTC domain expert within the SAP COE and a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
Business & Solution Design
-
Facilitate workshops to gather analyze and translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions.
-
Design and implement integrated SAP solutions to address complex business and technical needs.
-
Anticipate future business requirements and ensure scalability of SAP solutions.
System Support & Optimization
-
Partner with AMS business and technical teams to proactively identify resolve and reduce defects and enhancement requests.
-
Research production issues propose alternative solutions and drive resolution through configuration or custom development.
-
Apply OSS Notes manage SAP patches and stay current on SAP releases.
WRICEF & Integration
-
Lead functional design for WRICEF objects within the Sales & Distribution domain.
-
Support development teams with solution architecture functional specifications and design documentation.
-
Ensure strong integration between SAP SD and FI-AR including account determination and AR payment processing.
-
Provide guidance on IDoc configuration and processing.
Leadership & Collaboration
-
Act as a senior leader with decision-making influence across business and IT teams.
-
Collaborate closely with Architecture Development BASIS Security and AMS partners.
-
Support organizational change management related to SAP adoption and usage.
-
Deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required (or equivalent experience)

10 years of SAP experience in OTC or related functional domains
-
8 years of hands-on SAP OTC configuration experience
-
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and postgo-live support

Proven expertise in:

SAP OTC / Sales & Distribution
-
SDFI (AR) integration and account determination
-
Warranty and manufacturing-related processes
-
Functional and process design documentation
-
Strong understanding of IDoc configuration and processing

Experience supporting or leading WRICEF design
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Ariba
-
Automotive industry experience

Strong passion for SAP standardization and out-of-the-box functionality

Travel Requirements
- 20% Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time). This associate will work from the Parts Distribution Center in Sealy Texas 4 - 5 days a week and may occasionally be required to be at the Corporate Campus where applicable for business.
