As a Dishwasher at Carmens Group youll play a crucial behind-the-scenes role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly safely and efficiently. With a focus on cleanliness organization and teamwork youll help create the foundation for exceptional guest experiences by supporting our culinary team every step of the way.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing dishes glassware utensils kitchen tools and food preparation equipment using an industrial dishwasher or by hand when required
- Ensuring all items are properly cleaned dried and returned to their designated storage locations
- Maintaining clean and orderly kitchen work areasincluding sweeping mopping and wiping down surfaces walls and equipment
- Reporting any low stock damaged items or equipment issues promptly to the Executive Chef
- Following all food safety and sanitation regulations including proper handling and chemical use
- Supporting kitchen operations by keeping dish stations floors and storage areas clean and organized
- Assisting with trash and recycling removal in accordance with cleanliness standards
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and safe operations
- Taking direction from the Executive Chef and contributing to a respectful team-first kitchen culture
- Performing other duties as assigned to support kitchen operations
Your Ingredients to Success
- Positive outgoing and friendly team player
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-pacedenvironment
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work independently and part of a team with minimal supervision
- Adaptable to changes in workflow or requirements
- Previous cleaning/dishwashing experience an asset
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
- Flexible availability required including availability to work closing shiftsas late as 2am on weekends
