Overview
Position:Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 14813 N. Dale Mabry Tampa FL 33618
Schedule: Full Time Mon - Fri 40 hrs/wk covering hours of operation from Mon-Thurs 7am-7pm Fri 7am-6pm
Compensation: $25/hr - $30/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.
Incentives: $10000 bonus. Indefinite student debt repayment option of $200/month
Select Physical Therapys outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Work with a highly experienced team of 7 clinicians treating outpatient orthopedics neuro vestibular hand therapy and dry needling. Experienced outpatient physical therapists and newly licensed physical therapist APPLY! Mentoring available! Lets foster your growth!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
