Job Summary

Responsibilities:
- Basic food prep
- Portioning a variety of food items and preparing orders sent out to schools
- Preparing meals for service at schools
- Ensure food quality standards are followed from delivery to re-therm to presentation of the final product in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service
- Committed to being punctual adhering to the time and attendance policy
- Set up and break down of breakfast and lunch line layout work at an efficient pace
- Ability to learn and execute the operation of kitchen equipment in a safe efficient manner
- Keep students informed of the scheduled menu and new items. Get student customer feedback (food quality likes and dislikes) during non-service time (if allowed) and communicate information to management
- Able to identify and effectively communicate any concerns while being solution oriented with issues that may affect food safety quality and or the student customer experience
Requirements:
- Experience with large scale food production
- Superior attention to detail required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements
- Food sanitation required
- Positive attitude reliable and flexible
- Fluent in English (bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus)
- Enjoy being around children
- Strong communication skills
- Clean background check
- Basic Math/Arithmetic skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

- Days: Monday through Friday7:00am - 2:00pm
- Full-time Immediate Hire
