Make A Difference
A PET/CT technologist performs nuclear medicine molecular imaging and diagnostic CT procedures or therapies at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner and under the supervision of an authorized user.
Make A Difference
- Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring.
- Receive relay and document all verbal written and electronic orders in the patients medical record.
- Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment positioning devices patient care items and patient monitoring devices.
Qualifications/Education
- Required: 2 year degree in Nuclear Medicine
- Required: One of the following is required Certifications/Licensures: (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technology (N)(ARRT) Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB))
- Preferred: 4 year degree in Nuclear Medicine
- Certifications/Licensures: (One of the following is required Certifications within one year of hire: Certified Computed Tomography (CT) (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) (CT))
