Job Description

Were hiring a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to help design and build secure scalable cloud platforms used across multiple enterprise teams. This is a hands-on senior-level role for someone who can deliver independently from day one in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Dallas TX (5 days onsite local candidates only)
Type: Contract (6 months)

What Youll Do

Design deploy and secure AWS cloud infrastructure (VPC IAM EC2 Lambda ECS/EKS S3 KMS)
Build enterprise-grade infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK (Terraform experience acceptable)
Implement secure multi-account AWS environments and landing zones
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Partner with security teams to meet compliance and audit requirements
Troubleshoot complex cloud networking and deployment issues
Create clear documentation and architecture diagrams

What Were Looking For

8 10 years of hands-on AWS experience in large-scale environments
Strong expertise in AWS CDK or Terraform
Deep knowledge of IAM security controls networking and encryption
Experience with Docker Kubernetes (EKS) and modern cloud platforms
Proficiency in Python TypeScript or Go
Prior experience in regulated or enterprise environments preferred

Nice to Have

Financial services or enterprise platform experience
Monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch Datadog Grafana)
Security automation or compliance-as-code experience
