About the Role The Identity and Access Management Practice (IAMP) is looking for a Senior Identity and Access Management Consultant to support the Government of Ontarios Public Key Infrastructure (GO-PKI).
This role helps keep government security systems running safely and reliably. You will support systems that control secure access digital certificates and authentication across development testing and live production environments. These systems are critical to public sector services and must run without interruption.
What You Will Do GO-PKI Operations and Support -
Support GO-PKI systems in development testing and production

Upgrade Entrust Certificate Authority so it can move to a managed cloud service
-
Set up and support disaster recovery for certificate systems
-
Configure and manage hardware security devices used to protect encryption keys
-
Migrate directory services from Atos DirX to Oracle Unified Directory
-
Monitor system health performance and availability
-
Perform regular maintenance such as patching backups certificate renewals and tuning
-
Investigate and fix issues related to PKI and certificate services
On-Call and Production Support -
Provide on-call support for live production systems 24 hours a day
-
Support non-production systems during business hours
-
Act as a senior technical expert during incidents and outages
-
Take part in change and release management activities
-
Support infrastructure components such as firewalls load balancers proxies and network gateways
-
Support systems running on Windows Linux AIX and Solaris
Client Integration -
Help OPS and Broader Public Sector clients connect their applications to GO-PKI

Review technical requirements and design secure integration solutions
-
Build test and deploy integration solutions
-
Create scripts tools and reports to simplify and automate integrations
-
Document solutions and integration steps for reuse
Service Improvement -
Improve how GO-PKI systems are supported and maintained

Define monitoring alerts and performance thresholds
-
Set up monitoring and alerting tools
-
Work with infrastructure hosting partners on operational processes
-
Document system support and maintenance procedures
What Were Looking For IAM and Security Experience -
10 years supporting identity and access management systems
-
At least 4 years working on systems with more than 10000 users
-
At least 4 years hands-on experience with Entrust PKI Suite
-
Strong understanding of digital certificates encryption authentication and SSL
Technical Experience -
Entrust PKI Suite and Microsoft ADCS
-
LDAP tools such as Atos DirX and Apache Directory Studio
-
Web servers such as IIS Apache IBM Web Server and NGINX
-
Oracle WebLogic
-
SQL and Oracle databases (11g or newer)
-
Operating systems including Windows Linux AIX and Solaris
Service Management and Soft Skills -
Experience with ITIL processes such as incident problem change and release management
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-
Experience with automated testing tools is an asset
-
Clear verbal and written communication skills
