Sentara BelleHarbour in Suffolk VA is currently hiring a Radiology Technologist for a part time weekend day shift.

• Saturday and Sunday: 9am - 6:30pm

Overview

Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology operation of radiation producing equipment operation of the electronic radiology systems preparation of patient room/equipment/medications and maintains adequate supply inventory. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.

Education

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required)

Certification / Licensure

• ARRT (R) (Required at time of hire)

• BLS

The Advanced Imaging Center at BelleHarbour is conveniently located on the campus of Sentara BelleHarbour in Western Tidewater. The center is home to a 3T MRI CT PET CT full digital mammography ultrasound bone densitometry PVL (vascular imaging services) non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing and digital X-ray. Physicians and patients also benefit from the expertise of our sub-specialized radiologists who ensure accurate results from the high quality images. Our sub-specialties include womens imaging musculoskeletal (MSK) body and neuroradiology.
