Job Summary:
The Echo Tech is responsible for performing a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures in settings such as adult acute care adult outpatient ER and ICU. This includes performing 2-D 3-D and stress echocardiograms as well as utilizing various equipment and documentation systems.

Responsibilities:
- Perform adult echocardiograms including 2-D Echo 3-D Echo Bubble Study Color Doppler Imaging with Contrast Agents Pharmacologic Stress Echo Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) and Treadmill Stress Echo.
- Perform calculations such as Simpsons Rule Diastology LV Strain/LV Volume and Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area.
- Utilize equipment such as GE Hitachi PACS Philips Siemens SonoSite and Toshiba.
- Document patient information using EPIC/Change Healthcare systems.
- Work in various settings including Adult Acute Care Adult Outpatient ER and ICU.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- ARDMS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an experienced sonographer with TTE plus Stress Echo

Special Considerations:
- If the traveler has worked for any Providence affiliated facility as a perm staff they must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel contract.
- Unit accepts first-time travelers but the candidate needs to be an experienced sonographer.
