SCHOOL YEAR 2025-2026

POSITION: Adaptive Behavior Classroom

LOCATION: Pewitt Elementary School

Position Summary:Work with students who have disabilities and exhibit challenging behaviors providing support and interventions to help them succeed in the educational setting.

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelors Degree

Licenses/Other:

Appropriate State of Texas Teaching Certificate

Special Education Certification

Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of special education and core academic subjects

Ability to work with students

Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills

WORKING CONDITIONS: Maintain emotional control under stress
