Role: Sr. Secure Voice Engineer

Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate SCIF/closed room telecommunication and VoIP network infrastructure development with stakeholders.
- Support FSO requirements concerning SCIF design for government sponsor.
- Utilize knowledge of the OSI model to troubleshoot and develop vIPer connectivity.
- GUI into vIPer phones to perform software upgrades device keying programming and DID range association.
- Complete vIPer phone installs.
- Monitor vIPer rekeys.
- Troubleshoot V.150 protocol troubleshooting to establish secure connectivity.
- Establish runbooks that provide detailed steps to perform technical tasks.
- Train partner teams to support ad-hoc requirements.
- Maintain 100% accountability of all accountable COMSEC items.
- Provide support and oversight over multiple COMSEC accounts and local elements across multiple sites.
- Perform all necessary backups system upgrades reconciliations and inventories of COMSEC material.
- Use and maintain common fill devices (KIK SKL SDS).
- Prepare and ship COMSEC material as instructed by mission partner policies as needed.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers/stakeholders to support information security programs
Basic qualifications
- 2 years COMSEC experience as a Primary or Alternate COMSEC Custodian.
- Extensive experience with vIPer phone implementation.
- Bachelors degree in STEM field.
Preferred qualifications
- 4 years of COMSEC experience with a focus on vIPer phone connectivity engineering.
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience developing and interpreting policies procedures and strategies governing the planning and delivery and execution of COMSEC programs.
- Experience providing technical advice guidance and recommendations to high level management officials and technical staff on secure voice products.
- Experience in developing SOPs for all types of COMSEC actions. (E.g. Annual Rekey vIPer Upgrades STE Use)
- Masters degree.
