As a line cook you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious dishes to perfection ensuring consistent quality and : Full-time permanent. Weekdays weekends and evenings. Wage: $19 - $22 (dependant on experience)Key ResponsibilitiesFollow proper payroll and uniform closely with standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and a good working relationship with other employees providing instruction and encouragement as a clean neat and organized work properly in the event of any hotel emergency or safety other tasks or projects as assigned by kitchen or resort ability to work in any area of the kitchen (line prep pastry shop etc.) both in a supervisory or front line ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the Everwild & Base Camp Resorts and encourage staff to do the sameSkills and ExperienceExperience/Ability to do the following:Forward bend squat forward reach to retrieve items from cabinetsRepetitive forward bend of head/neckLifting through height of 6 to 5(squatting or forward bend) from dolly to refrigerator shelvesCarrying boxes/bags of food a distance of 10 feetShoulder motions below 90 degrees shoulder flexionGross grasp to hold tongs spoonsRepetitive elbow motion in mid-range for choppingRepetitive wrist motions through partial range for stirring and choppingLift boxes of 50 pots of food: 25-50 food: 5-10 lbs. of force may be needed to stir thicker consistency foods such as mashed writing and oral proficiency in the English experience in a line cook position.
