Job Summary
Job Summary
The responsibilities of an Automotive Glass & Recalibration Technician include removing installing and replacing automotive glass (windshields gate glass door glass qtr glass). Will be handling all Service and Collision Glass work for the dealerships. Will also perform all Recalibrations for Collision Based Vehicles of most all Makes. Need to be efficient and ready to make money by performing timely services.

Responsibilities
Determine damaged parts
Document all repairs performed and recommended on the repair order with proper flag sheets and technician notes
Communicate status of repairs clearly to applicable management estimator and/or advisor
Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
Document all materials used
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
Follow all company safety procedures
Follow federal state and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste
Qualifications
Mandatory Previous automotive glass experience
Time management skills for performing multiple duties in a fast-paced environment
Completion of vocational program preferred but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Clean driving record & valid drivers license

Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of the position are MEDIUM to HEAVY in intensity.
Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
Visual acuity requirements include color depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
Constant Reaching sitting standing walking fingering grasping feeling talking hearing.
Frequent Repetitive motion.
Occasional Balancing kneeling crouching pushing pulling and lifting up to 100 lbs.
Physical Working Conditions
This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes outside weather conditions slightly elevated ambient noise levels minor potential physical hazards as electrical mechanical and cleaning equipment and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes odors and dusts associated with operation an auto dealership.
