Position Summary

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering outstanding guest service while performing front desk operations including guest check-in/check-out reservations billing and guest assistance. This role represents the hotels first and last impression and plays a key part in ensuring a positive guest experience consistent with Hilton brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure

  • Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately

  • Handle room reservations modifications cancellations and billing inquiries

  • Process payments post charges and balance shift transactions

  • Respond to guest requests concerns and complaints promptly and courteously

  • Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding room status and guest needs

  • Maintain accurate guest records in the property management system

  • Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner

  • Follow all hotel policies procedures and brand standards

  • Maintain a clean organized and professional front desk area

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Prior hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer skills; hotel PMS experience a plus

  • Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Indoor hotel front office environment

  • Prolonged standing walking and use of computer systems

  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs

Compliance Statement

This position is hourly and non-exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with New Jersey wage and hour laws. Employment is at-will.
