The Supply Chain Intern will support a crossfunctional initiative to standardize and improve Unit of Measure (UoM) data across the organization. This role is ideal for a detailoriented student who enjoys problemsolving data analysis and process improvement. The intern will work closely with Supply Chain Quality Operations Engineering and IT teams to validate UoM data identify inconsistencies and help implement corrective actions that enhance system accuracy and operational efficiency.
Review existing Unit of Measure data within ERP systems (e.g. JDE) to identify gaps inconsistencies and errors.
Assist in mapping current UoM structures and documenting how they are used across purchasing planning inventory and production.
Support the development of standardized UoM guidelines and help update SOPs or work instructions as needed.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and understand process impacts.
Participate in data cleanup activities including verification of packaging case quantities pallet configurations and conversion factors.
Help test system updates or configuration changes related to UoM corrections.
Prepare reports dashboards or summaries to communicate findings and project progress.
Provide general support to the Supply Chain team on related projects or tasks.
Currently at least Junior or Senior in an undergraduate bachelors degree program
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management Operations Management Industrial Engineering Business or a related field.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable working with data in Excel or similar tools.
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Interest in ERP systems and process improvement.
Experience with ERP systems (JDE SAP Oracle etc.).
Familiarity with supply chain fundamentals such as BOMs inventory management or procurement.
Basic understanding of data governance or master data management.
Handson experience with a real-world data standardization project.
Exposure to supply chain operations and crossfunctional collaboration.
Practical understanding of ERP systems and master data processes.
