BGIS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of designated projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely on time within budget and to the highest quality standards while providing exceptional service to our clients.
As a Project Manager you will plan and lead projects from initiation through to completion coordinating teams managing contractors controlling budgets and maintaining full compliance with contractual safety and business system requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan manage and deliver projects across all stages: scope design tendering construction commissioning handover and defects liability period
- Define project goals scope timelines and budgets to meet revenue cost and profit targets
- Act as a strong customer advocate building and maintaining positive client and stakeholder relationships
- Lead coordinate and support project teams subcontractors and consultants through effective communication and leadership
- Monitor project progress manage risks resolve issues and implement changes as required
- Manage project finances including cost control forecasting invoicing and profitability
- Ensure compliance with WHSEQ policies statutory requirements and BGIS business systems
- Prepare review and manage all project documentation and records
- Conduct project reviews and provide regular progress and performance reports to stakeholders and executive management
- Participate in tender processes including design submission evaluation and contract finalisation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement growth and new project initiatives
Qualifications:
- Essential: Certificate IV in OHS or relevant experience and Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Project Management or related discipline.
- Current General Induction for the Construction Industry card.
