Job Summary
Work - As the Project Manager your primary responsibility will be to manage the safe on time on budget delivery of high-quality outcomes for Sunwater projects related to new or existing infrastructure and services. You will work closely with regional operations teams to plan schedule and deliver high quality outcomes for major maintenance and works programs required to support the region.
In addition you will:
- Manage effective and efficient project delivery including performance monitoring and reporting cost control stakeholder engagement project documentation risk management construction planning and management commissioning and handover
- Coordinate preparation and management of contracts for the engagement of contractors and consultants develop the necessary approvals required for delivery of projects and monitoring performance to ensure safe high-quality outputs
- Produce and/or support production of robust business cases where required to demonstrate / justify prudent investment
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with demonstrated technical skills preferably in civil or mechanical. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a related discipline or have equivalent experience.
In addition you will have:
- 5 years experience in a similar role managing the delivery of multiple projects
- Demonstrated experience in bulk water delivery infrastructure heavy industry infrastructure or a similar environment.
- Foundational knowledge of PMBOK methodology.
