Accounts Payable Clerk

Astronics-PECO located in picturesque Clackamas Oregon near the foothills of Mt. Hood designs certifies manufactures and sells a wide range of products to commercial government and military markets throughout the world. Our highly engineered interior and structural aerospace products are supplied to the largest aircraft manufacturers and are installed in aircraft around the globe and our military products are used in critical national defense applications. The Max-Viz enhanced visions systems (EVS) are designed and certified for use as an improvement to safety by a vast array of airplanes helicopters and unmanned-aerial-vehicles in the commercial government and military marketplace. PECO-Controls are well established temperature control devices designed for applications where high quality is a must such as the hospitality industry commercial cooking and other critical applications.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to work with our team. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and understanding of general accounting principles.


Primary duties include but are not limited to:
Match invoices to receiving documents.
Reconcile purchase orders with items received and billed.
Accurately enter edit and post invoice data into the ERP.
Research and resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies.
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
File copy fax and other work-related tasks as needed.
Electronically scan payments/invoices and back-up documentation.
Perform back-up duties to process accounts payable checks wire transfers credit card and ACH payments.
Perform back-up duties to Admin. Asst. which includes placing food orders.
Work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks.

Desired Knowledge Skills Abilities and Experience

• High School Diploma and a minimum one year of related experience or training.
• Basic knowledge of general accounting principles and techniques.
• Ability to work with a calculator and basic office machines.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both orally and in writing.
• Ability to research and analyze various types of data.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail accuracy and thoroughness.
