UCTis looking for a talentedDirector Advanced Planning System & Processes to join us inAustin TX!

The Director Global Planning System leads the endâtoâend deployment optimization and adoption of the Kinaxis APS platform across all UCT manufacturing sites worldwide. This role defines global planning processes drives solution design and rollout and leads the Center of Excellence to ensure consistent execution and continuous improvement. By aligning crossâfunctional stakeholders enhancing planning capabilities and developing scalable training programs the director strengthens forecasting accuracy supply chain performance and operational agility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Program Implementation

• Lead the requirements gathering process for the Kinaxis Maestro demand and supply planning solution by collaborating closely with key stakeholders in supply chain IT and Operations.
• Function as the subject matter expert (SME) on Kinaxis Maestro demand and supply planning and Sales & Operations Planning processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design the Kinaxis solution ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Roll out the global design across geographies and Business units. Be the solution lead for the global rollout from business side.
• Provide guidance to the project team and oversight of external consultants.
• Nurture user adoption to reach best-in-class position in the industry.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

• Analyze current business processes related to demand and supply planning and show areas of improvement.
• Document functional requirements process flows and gap analysis to support system configuration and enhancements.
• Propose best practices for using the Kinaxis platform to improve forecasting demand planning and supply chain management.

Documentation Training & Development

• Develop and maintain training materials for business users. It is critical complicated things are made simple for user engagement and rapid adoption.
• Develop and deliver training and certification program.
• Build internal user group and nurture it so they can share learn and have healthy competition to make things better for everyone.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in the solution ensuring that the solution is agile and responsive to business changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback on the solutions and show areas for future enhancements.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to seamlessly work with planners managers directors and VPs on initiatives and what-if analytics.
• Experience building workbooks workflows and widgets to meet business needs in collaboration with IT.
• Experience driving user adoption across the globe.
• People and entrepreneurial skills to drive results.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• BS/MS level degree in business supply chain operations management operations research or related technical discipline required.

Experience Requirement:

• 10 years experience in supply and demand planning in contract or OEM high mix-low volume manufacturing operations as the global systems and process owner.

Work Experience:

• 5 to 10 years hands on experience deploying Kinaxis maestro globally for supply and demand planning and Sales & Operations planning as the business expert including close loop back with ERP.
• Several years experience presenting the various what-if analysis results internally and to external customers.
• 5 years experience serving as SME for planning in a major ERP system a plus.

Management Experience

• 5 years experience training and coaching planning and program management employees in manufacturing locations in US Asia and Europe on supply and demand planning and Sales & Operations Planning.
