Role:Lift Engineer
Reporting To:Director
Location:Uxbridge
Salary range:38k 43k per annum
Hours:7.30am 4.30pm
Job purpose:
To carry out statutory LOLER inspections on a variety of lifting equipment. Inspections to be carried out thoroughly and to an excellent standard.
Key tasks:
- Insurance inspections- Attending sites examining a wide
variety of lifting equipment and issuing reports to clients. - Condition surveys - Surveying existing plants to provide a
report upon the incumbent service providers service delivery compliance with current Health & Safety Legislation Disability Discrimination Act compliance and short/medium/long term
comments in respect to lift cycle analysis of the plant. - Provide an overview report of possible options for either refurbishment of existing installation of possible replacement with a new pre-engineered modular design solution.
- Equipment audits - Carry out visual surveys of existinginstallations to benchmark the installation against our in-house predetermined quality expectations and produce reports.
- Maintenanceaudits - Providing professionaladviceon the
incumbentservice provider as totheir overall performance and service delivery and produce reports. - Travelling independently to attend customer sites/premises as required.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of products and full range of accessories.
- Completing test certificates and associated paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Abide by Health & Safety regulations at all times.
- To work in a manner that is methodical efficient considerate and respectful to clients at all times providing excellent customer service.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by the Senior Associate.

- Excellent customer/client experience.
- Maintenance / inspections / repairs carried out efficiently safely and accurately in a cost-effective manner.
- Accurate records maintained.
Person Specification - Essential
- Qualified (or equivalent experience) to at least NVQ 3 - Lift Engineering.
Proven experience of carrying out service/maintenance lift inspections.
Experience of independently diagnosing / repairing a variety of lifts.
Experience working autonomously in a customer facing role.
Good written and spoken English.
Excellent understanding of current Health & Safety procedures and standards applicable to the job role.
- Full UK Driving license.
