With over 25 years in business Occupli is a leading provider of health and safety recruitment consultancy and environmental solutions in Ireland.

Occupli Consultancy now seeks an Health & Safety Consultant to join the expanding team of health and safety professionals based out of the Cork office.



Requirements

The consultant will be a highly motivated and driven safety professional capable of working both under their own initiative and as part of the larger consultancy team providing consultancy services to meet client requirements. The main focus of the role will be fulfilling the duties of a health & safety consultant working with a large portfolio of our clients. The role will also include supporting the wider consultancy team to provide a range of health and safety related services to clients including audits inspections safety management system development etc.


The ideal candidate will:

Be qualified / graduating in the Higher Diploma in Health & Safety in 2026.

Have previously achieved a Level 7 or 8 third level qualification in science or engineering.

Have at least 3- 5 years experience in industry manufacturing or construction.

Be willing to work towards a Chartered Member of IOSH achieving that or equivalent.

Have strong knowledge and understanding of the role of a health & safety professional and relevant legislation.

Have excellent report writing capability.

Ideally have the ability to deliver training in H&S related areas

Have excellent computer skills.

Good presentation communication and interpersonal skills essential.

This is a full-time permanent role based in our Cork office however there is the possibility of some remote based working. The role will report directly to the Consultancy Manager in Cork. A full drivers license is essential. There will be a great opportunity for career development with a wide range of in-house training courses and support for external education and training where appropriate.

A competitive salary will be offered depending on skills and experience along with a standard range of company benefits including company performance bonus sick pay and maternity pay all post a qualification period.
