As a Locum MD in Emergency Medicine you will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients with acute medical conditions. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other medical professionals
- Perform necessary procedures and interventions in a timely manner
- Manage patient flow and prioritize care based on acuity
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Adhere to all hospital policies and emergency protocols
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine or related field
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team
- Experience in a fast-paced emergency setting is preferred
Schedule: 8a-8p 12p-12a or 8p-8a
Annual Volume: 14k patients
Must be comfortable with emergent OB coverage
Support Staff: APPs Hospitalists
EMR: RPMS
Any state license accepted
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Paid travel & expenses
