Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care
- Evaluate patients medical histories and prepare anesthesia plans
- Provide post-anesthesia care and assess patients recovery
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in anesthesia care
Requirements
- Active Nurse Anesthetist license in the state of practice
- Completion of a Nurse Anesthesia program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Basic understanding of anesthesia techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a clinical setting
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts
No call or weekend shifts
6-7 main ORs 5-room endo center 4 ORs at surgical center
Cases: General robotics GYN urology ENT healthy pediatrics hips & knees neurology
Medical direction
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
