Job Summary

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

The incumbent shall perform and process X-rays utilizing portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and subsequently transmit these images to a Radiologist for interpretation.

The individual is required to unload portable X-ray equipment and transport it into facilities to conduct examinations as ordered by the attending physician. It is essential to obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images.

As needed the incumbent shall perform Electrocardiograms (EKGs) and transmit the results to a Cardiologist for interpretation if required. Daily scanning of examination-related paperwork and billing documents must be conducted in accordance with established protocols.

Regular communication with dispatch and management is imperative.

The ability to communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers supervisory personnel and clients is also required.

Additionally the individual shall maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment. Compliance with all relevant state licensure and/or ARRT certification requirements as well as adherence to health and operational standards is mandatory.

A valid drivers license in the applicable state must be maintained in good standing at all times.

**Certification Requirements:**

- ARRT Certification

- State License Requirements: South Carolina
