Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Emergency this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients in Round Rock. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient emergency medical services. You will be involved in a variety of fast-paced and challenging medical cases making quick decisions to save lives and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency medical situations promptly and effectively.
- Perform medical assessments diagnosis and treatment of patients in the emergency department.
- Stabilize patients in critical condition and provide life-saving interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information treatment plans and progress accurately.
- Adhere to medical protocols standards and guidelines in all procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and staff members.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on medical advancements.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Valid state medical license to practice in Round Rock.
- Proven experience working in emergency departments or urgent care settings.
- Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Schedule: 10a-8p 3p-1a 8p-6a
Patient Census: 5-6 per hour
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
