Role Summary

The Salesforce FSC Developer will be responsible for designing developing and supporting Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) solutions for banking wealth management and insurance clients. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flows along with a solid understanding of the FSC data model and financial services business processes.


Key Responsibilities

Salesforce FSC Development

  • Develop and enhance Salesforce FSC features including:

    • Client and Household Management

    • Financial Accounts Assets and Liabilities

    • Relationships Life Events Goals and Referrals

  • Customize FSC objects and extend the industry data model based on business requirements

  • Build scalable solutions using Apex LWC and Flows


Configuration & Customization

  • Implement and configure:

    • Custom objects fields and validation rules

    • Record types page layouts and dynamic forms

    • Business automation using Flows and Process Builder (where applicable)

  • Configure Salesforce security:

    • Profiles

    • Permission Sets

    • Roles and Sharing Rules


Integrations & Data Handling

  • Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs for integrations with:

    • Core Banking and Wealth platforms

    • KYC/AML and onboarding systems

    • External data providers

  • Support data migration and reconciliation using:

    • Data Loader

    • Workbench

    • SOQL / SOSL


Quality Testing & Deployment

  • Write unit tests and test classes to meet Salesforce code coverage standards

  • Support SIT UAT and production releases

  • Work with CI/CD pipelines using:

    • Salesforce DX

    • Git

    • Copado / Gearset

  • Identify and fix defects performance issues and production incidents


Agile Delivery

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

  • Collaborate closely with:

    • Business Analysts

    • Architects

    • QA teams

  • Provide accurate estimates and consistently meet sprint commitments


Required Skills & Experience

Salesforce Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

    • Apex Triggers and Lightning Web Components (LWC)

    • Salesforce Flows

    • SOQL / SOSL

  • Experience with:

    • Sales Cloud

    • Service Cloud

    • Financial Services Cloud (FSC)


BFSI / Domain Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of:

    • Wealth Management and Retail Banking processes

    • Client onboarding servicing and relationship management

    • Financial accounts portfolios and regulatory constraints

  • Experience working in BFSI environments with compliance awareness


Integration & Tools

  • API integrations (REST/SOAP)

  • Middleware experience (MuleSoft preferred)

  • DevOps tools:

    • Git

    • Azure DevOps / GitHub

    • CI/CD pipelines




Required Skills:

Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: Work with project teams throughout the organization to design implement and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai to ensure high availability performance and scalability for customer facing applications and business processes. Handle multiple priorities and assignments with excellence and precision. Be a part of a 24/7/365 organization (some after hours support is expected as part of normal on-call rotation). Directly support line of business development teams provide guidance to them on implementation and changes for customer facing applications Develop and maintain security protocols and measures to protect CDN infrastructure from cyber threats. Monitor and analyze network performance identifying and resolving issues to optimize content delivery of critical applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Akamai CDN solutions with existing systems and applications. Collaborate with information security teams to implement DDoS protection strategies and other security measures in the CDN. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding CDN and security best practices. Work closely with vendor and professional service teams on delivery related activities and strategy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. OR similar work experience. Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS DNS TCP/IP). Proven experience as a CDN Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on -depth knowledge of Content Delivery Network technologies including caching load balancing and content optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience supporting 24/7/365 customer facing applications at enterprise scale. Awareness and experience with cybersecurity tools and practices such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python Bash) a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CEH) are a plus but not required.
