Job description: Bentley OpenPlant Modeler Trainer
This role is responsible for teaching industry professionals how to create intelligent 3D plant models P&IDs and isometric drawings using Bentleys software suite. These trainers must possess deep technical knowledge of OpenPlant Modeler OpenPlant PID and related Bentley software like OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting instructor-led training for beginner to advanced users.
Creating and upgrading training course materials and workshops including project-based learning scenarios.
Training users in modeling equipment piping HVAC electrical cable trays and structural steel.
Teaching best practices for P&ID setup pipe routing clash detection and generating bills of quantities (BOQ).
Assisting with installation configuration and troubleshooting of OpenPlant software.
Ensuring training meets the standards of the Bentley Institute to help users attain
professional accreditation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Extensive experience with OpenPlant Modeler OpenPlant PID and ideally AutoPLANT or Aveva PDMS.
Strong understanding of CAD 3D modeling and database management.
Excellent verbal and written skills to interact with diverse groups of trainees.
A background in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering degree is usually required.
Ideally a Bentley Qualified Trainer (BQT) badge demonstrating mastery in training specific Bentley products.
