We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Superintendent to lead daily warehouse and materials-handling operations. This role is responsible for driving productivity quality cleanliness and safety across shipping and receiving functions while ensuring team members consistently meet company standards. The Superintendent will play a key role in optimizing processes supporting employee engagement and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
Implement monitor and improve materials-handling processes to meet performance goals including FIFO compliance load-time efficiency and inventory accuracy.
Partner with the Safety team to identify and reduce risks for powered industrial equipment operators and non-operators ensuring a safe workplace and minimizing liability.
Communicate inbound and outbound shipping issues with relevant departments to support proper scheduling and smooth operations.
Oversee and maintain the powered industrial equipment program including training and compliance.
Support employee and labor relations initiatives to improve engagement morale and retention.
Develop and execute training plans aligned with company goals and operational needs.
Participate in or lead process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Minimum of 3 years of related experience with progressive supervisory or managerial responsibility.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations shipping/receiving processes and inventory control.
Proven leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Work takes place in manufacturing and freezer areas; personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection may be required.
